Looking to find a way to and from Lake Breeze? We have compiled some (hopefully) helpful information below to help provide some answers to any and all unanswered questions.

Transportation

Looking for…

  • There will be plenty of parking available at Lake Breeze on the day, so if you wish to drive yourself to the venue that will be no issue.

    There is ample parking both at the front and back of the cellar door. Please follow signs accordingly on the day.

  • We will be organising a number of buses from a few locations to and from the venue. Please respond in the RSVP if you would like to save a seat on one of these buses.

    Likely pick-up/drop-off locations are;

    • Goolwa/Middleton

    • Strathalbyn/Mt Barker/Nairne

    • South Terrace (CBD)

    If you forgot to respond in the RSVP or your situation has changed please let us know and we can work things out!

  • Uber has minimal to zero coverage for Lake Breeze so organising an Uber might be best to avoid.

    Des’s Cabs are a local option if you do need to organise a taxi. We would reccomend booking in advance and confirm they can travel to and from Lake Breeze.

Accomodation

Looking for…

If you’re looking for accomodation to stay a bit closer to the wedding venue we have complied a few suggested locations based on where we are likely to organise transport to and from.

  • If you’re after a stay closer to the beach, then any AirBnb booked from Goolwa to Victor Harbour is a good option.

    Be mindfu as the drive is about 35mins to Goolwa so expect a slightly longer travel time if you’re journeying by bus.

  • Airbnb’s are likely to be your best bet if you’re looking for stays within the Adelaide Hills or just a little bit of country air for you city folk.

    We would suggest finding a spot anywhere in Mount Barker/Littlehampton/Nairne as this will allow for an easy pick-up/drop-off on one of the buses.

    Travel time to Mount Barker is approx 30mins.

  • A closer location to Lake Breeze would be to try and find a stay within Strathalbyn. It’s a much closer 15min drive from Lake Breeze and would provide ample opportunity to day trip to other Hills locations if you want to make a weekend out of it.

    Please note there is limited availability for accomodation within Strathalbyn, particularly for large groups.
